About Us
Hi, I’m Jen! I’m the grower, maker, and herbalist on our family’s herb farm.
My background is in emergency medicine as a paramedic. In 2010 my infant son developed severe eczema and asthma that wasn’t responding well to medications. So I started learning about herbalism and it grew from there!
Over the years we’ve learned more and more about how powerful natural medicine is and I started to teach other people how to use it too! Today we grow over 50 herbs, create herbal remedies, and teach people how to take control of their health!
Our farm is located in Chadwick, IL. It was formerly a multigenerational conventional farm, and was sadly farmed to death. When we found it, it was 30 years in to a conservation program with the USDA. We mulched down a couple acres of trees, started building our soil, and the rest is history.
We grow and wildcraft medicinal herbs using regenerative practices on our 10 acre property surrounded by dense forest, and raise chickens, rabbits, and goats that help us improve our soil health year after year.
